Take a breath, these things can happen. Start with an apology to the student/parents and let them know everyone did their best but there are a lot images and subjects to navigate when creating a yearbook.
Here are some options to adding a missed subject:
Photo Label
- Download the missing student's image from OPIE on your school dashboard. If they weren't photographed and you will have to find an image.
- Format a page of the subject's image and name sized to match they yearbook image sizes.
- If there is not a label formatted to that size print on a full size label page and cut images to size.
Contact Yearbook Publisher
You can reach out directly to your yearbook publisher for possible solutions. Remember you are not the first yearbook designer to discover someone or something got missed. They have a number of solutions.

Here are instructions for downloading the page with the missing subject for digital replacement:
- Download the Proof Design PDF from the Studio Source Dashboard
- Go to last approved proof- select the REVIEW TAB
- Under Flip book you can download the PDF,
- Import PDF into editing program and add image
- Print page and either glue in or insert extra page into book.
Or you can contact Studio Source to unlock the software, edit page and submit new proof so you can access that download to print.
